A Morning Walk Through Old Bundi

Bundi rewards early risers. Start before eight and the stepped lanes near the palace are quiet enough to hear the temple bells from across the lake.

From the haveli, it is a short walk down to Nawal Sagar, then up through the bazaar toward Bundi Palace — painted havelis on either side, most still lived in.
